FINE ARTS SUCCESS STORIES

2014-2015

 

Visual Arts:

• 2 Gold Key Pieces at Scholastic, 8 silver keys and 1 honorable mention

• 2nd Place in district wide billboard contest

• Over 45 participants in the Regional VASE contest this year with over 50 medals

• 8 pieces nominated for VASE State Recognition in Dallas

• 8 Pieces chosen to be displayed at the Capital for the duration of the year

 

Band:

• April 10-12, 2015 - Rebel 1st Band received Superior rating (and placed 1st overall) at the Lone Star Music Festival in Dallas Tx (Six Flags Contest) achieving the title of 2015 Grand Champions!

• April 10-12, 2015 - Rebel 2nd Band received Excellent rating at the Lone Star Music Festival in Dallas Tx (Six Flags Contest)

 

Choir:

• 2015-2016:
